Today I went to ask for a price quote for a Volkswagen Bora thermostat and water temperature sensor replacement.
They said 110 thousand in a basic tone, if the thermostat housing is not cracked, it's an extra 40 thousand.
It's funny how they want to rip you off.
Luckily, my 1.6 Bora died and the mechanic blew his whistle.
You can see why the workshop is so empty.

Unfortunately, they disappointed me too, so far everything has been fine, but for the most recent chassis adjustments, I have brought 4 cars here seasonally for several years now, for wheel changes because all the tires are on the rims and also for chassis adjustments. Until now, I was surprised that they do it without weighting, that according to some reference it is not required for certain brands, but there is currently no car in which someone is not sitting and the lack of a test drive is difficult to understand because of the legal antics. The bottom line is that without exception, all the cars were done wrong, and the only reason for this was laziness/negligence, because they should have always been in reverse, but then the first one would have crawled, they didn't feel like doing that anymore, and the values are only just, but the stability while driving cannot be denied at or above 140 km/h. At another mechanic, we were able to achieve perfect road holding with weighting and a test ride at an interesting cheaper price. It's a big disappointment because it would be a well-equipped workshop. In the picture, the chassis they did looked like after the adjustment, so all the others were worse than this, not even close to the limit, but in the red range, so unfortunately it's a letdown. I practically paid 2 times…
